Missions

“He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” (Micah 6:8)

We believe in order to “do justice” we must seek to meet the practical and spiritual needs of those in our local community, as well as those in other nations.

Local Missions

Throughout the year we reach out practically to our local community in a variety of ways such as: lunch distribution, gathering items for the local women’s shelter, helping the elderly or single parent homes in need of assistance, and our community garden.  Contact the office for upcoming opportunities to be involved with.

International Missions

We value international missions.  Many of our young adults & congregation have been involved with short-term missions and training programs.

Over the last 44 years Father’s House Atascadero has sent individuals to over 100 nations. We believe that the words of Jesus in Matthew 28 to “go into all the world and make disciples of all nations” are for all Christians, not just full time missionaries.

We have sent teams to Mississippi after Hurricane Katrina, San Francisco, Mexico, Russia, Thailand, Cambodia and Greece.

Whether you go across town, or go across the world, we want to see our church body moving in a missional mindset to reach others with the love of Jesus.
