At Father’s House, we agree with God when He declared in Genesis 2.18, “It is not good for man to be alone...” We know that within genuine, vulnerable, healthy, and godly community we find God’s presence (Matthew 18:20), added strength (Ecclesiastes 4:12), deep healing (James 5:16), a safe place to expose our true selves (Matthew 17:26), and the ability to display God’s love and light to the world around us (Matthew 5:13-16).
Mosaic Groups are small groups within Father’s House that gather together weekly, within each other’s homes, for the purpose of community (growing in relationship with one another), discipleship (growing as apprentices of Jesus Christ, learning His thoughts, heart and ways), and mission (being salt and light to our community around us).

When: Facilitated by Pastor Tom, this 8 week course will meet on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 beginning August 29th at Mike and Cara Goldsmith's home, 7760 Yesal, Atascadero (610-1215).
Description: Emotional health and spiritual maturity are inseparable. It is not possible to be spiritually mature while remaining emotionally immature. This course provides the necessary practical skills for your spiritual formation journey so that you can grow into an emotionally and spiritually mature believer. Unique and challenging, this material can transform your friendships, family, workplace, and all other relationships. At the end of the 8-week course, you will have the opportunity to continue with this mosaic group as you practice the skills you have learned and explore other topics.

Description: If you'd like to improve all your relationships and have fun while doing it, this is your mosaic group. Discover your own God-given personality and how to operate in your strengths. Learn about all four personalities so you can develop strengths from the others. Acquire insight in order to understand, relate to, and love the people in your life much better. Replace confusion and frustration with insight and wisdom on the best way to approach individuals. Carrie Calmere facilitates this course using the Wired That Way DVD series.

When: This 7 week Mosaic Group is on Tuesday nights from 6:30 to 8:30 beginning September 11th and ending October 23rd. This course is facilitated by Alan and Angela Rayher and will meet at 9050 Via Tortuga. (462-2566) Class is limited to 14 people (or 7 couples).

The Theological Pub is for those wanting to engage in theological conversation. The goal of this group is to discuss topics that can sometimes be controversial and require knowledge of the Word. If you are thirsty for seminary-level discussion and a pint, then this is your group.
