Equipping the Saints for the Work of the Ministry
Many Spirit-filled believers are receiving the call of God to do more than just attend church. Business people, students, homemakers and church workers are receiving the same call: to lay down their lives for the sake of a lost and dying world; to set aside the pursuit of leisure activities and dedicate their time for the benefit of the Kingdom of God. Believers of all ages are searching for a way to enter a fruitful ministry that will bring lasting satisfaction. They are seeking the confidence and spiritual direction necessary to answer the call.
The Father’s House Ministry Training Center (MTC) is open to those responding to the Lord as “a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.” The Ministry Training Center offers a complete ministry preparation curriculum. Graduate ministers of the MTC will have the tools, techniques and spiritual authority to commence ministry with a firm biblical foundation.
Wisdom comes with experience. Ministry experience is gained by "just doing it". To master hearing the voice of God, praying for the sick, leading the unsaved to Christ, leading believers into Holy Spirit baptism, flowing in the various gifts of the Holy Spirit, and ministering under the anointing and revelation of the Holy Spirit takes much practice through trial and error. The Ministry Training Center creates opportunities for student ministers to experience Holy Spirit-directed ministry. Demonstrations, illustrated teaching styles, and practicing various ministry skills are all part of the MTC training. Everything taught is re-teachable to others.
Courses are offered for four to ten weeks each quarter, with each quarter offering one or two courses along various tracks.
